ISLEF Ishmael and Sunday Legacy Education Foundation is a scholarship programe named after Pa Ismael Ikpeazu a teacher, and Pa Sunday Nwakanma, a nurse, the parents of the Founders of Vicar Hope Foundation.
Before the formation of Ishmael and Sunday Legacy Education Foundation, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu and Dr Nkechi Ikpeazu have committed funds into the education of many intelligent but indigent school kids. Through the Vicar Hope Foundation and through the personal financial interventions, many young people have enjoyed respite and renewed hope of good education.
Over the past six years, the Founders of Ishmael and Sunday Legacy Education Foundation have used their institution to provide solutions to the education challenges of hundreds of determined, hard-working but indigent students with many beneficiaries enjoying tuition and accommodation grants in several public universities, polytechnic and secondary schools in the country.
Through the facility of ISLEF, dozens of students from secondary and tertiary institutions currently enjoy seamless pursuit of their dream career choices. With tuition paid by ISLEF Founders, these scholars are having untold financial burdens lifted off their parents and guardians.
The 2024 Homecoming of ISLEF Scholars presents an opportunity to celebrate the magnanimity and humanitarianism of the Founders, the industry of the beneficiaries, and the success of the scheme while positioning it for greater exploits in coming years.
