The Foundation policy is to seek out and collaborate with local, national and international non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, and government organizations at all levels on specific projects and programme that are aligned with the objectives of the Foundation and in so doing share capacity and resources to achieve greater outcomes.
These are institutions or persons that are able, ready and willing to put resources in cash or kind to support project ideas as the basis for collaboration. Resource partners envisaged include persons interested in our work, other Foundations, National and International Development Agencies. Vitamin Angels and the UNFPA through the Abia State Ministry of Women Affairs fall into this category.
The primary value in Network partners is in co-creating and amplifying the work of partnerships. These include associations and coalitions that the Foundation belongs to either nationally, regionally or globally. These partners co-contribute to network events and activities. An example in this category is Child Protection Network (CPN) of Nigeria, and the Olusegun Obasanjo Foundation.
These are partnerships for mutual learning. This type of partnership currently exists between Vicar Hope Foundation and the Aisha Buhari Foundation.
